My Sons First Pulp City Team

Ok, he is only 3 weeks old, but I want to put together and create a Pulp City team for my son.
Each model will be in it for a reason.

The team so far consists of -

Scorpio - His Zodian Sign

Howler - Makes funny noises in his sleep, has cool shades and looks like a monkey with his hands behind his ears.

Francis Gator - When someone asked do you want a boy or girl I always said I want a Crocagator.

Predator Rex (Monster) - For the first few days he would claw like a dinosaur and look like he was roaring. (will use the dino parts below)

More will be added soon. As well as pictures of each when the minis are done.
Time to look for some Lvl 2s to add in. And top it off with a cool Lvl 3.

Battle mechanik officers are hardened combat veterans who specialize in the maintenance and battle repairs of the vaunted Man-O-War armor. Trained in the use of steam-powered armor, they rely on its protection to wade deep into the thick of battle to repair warjacks and Man-O-War alike. The mechaniks’ presence ensures no soldier’s armor becomes disabled, keeping Khador’s signature heavy infantry in the fight.

What a stunning mini! Almost looks like a modern Karchev! And that wrench looks dangerous.
This could tempt me into the Man O War Khador force I have been thinking about for ages.

Pulp City News inc New Villain - The Shadow Mask, Monster Rules + Future Plans

Got LOADS of Pulp City news for you today straight from Morf on the Pulp City Forums

- We are lining up with the printjob for the next 4 boxes - unfortunately everybody prints season cards and calendars right now, so it will take some.

- Monster rules will see first a free online - pdf release combined with them coming back to store.

- Next focus is fleshing out the factions as mentioned earlier, so after this hefty base, we'll get around releasing Green Emperor and Terror Cotta Warrior which will give you enough options to field a Level 12 Jade Cult, and Red Bella and Primates of Power box. Then Papa Zombie box and V.H. & Blacksmith for Blood Watch.
This way you will have all the initial teams aside Forgotten done!

- December will see finally first pics of my (and Liam C's) little fantasy collector line, Reaver Lords which at some point my turn into my dream dungeon crawl board game. The miniatures are of astounding quality, slightly bigger than Pulp City to adapt to the unbelievable amount of details.

This all looks great.
The Monster rules getting a free PDF to start with is going to be alot of fun. Want to pick up one of the kits asap just for the size of it.

This kit can make either an Elder or Beast Monster. Cant decide what to make myself yet. Love all 4.

Then there are the future release plans. Lots more for the Jade Cult (Green Emperor + Terror Cotta Warriors), ARC (Red Bella + Primates of Power), Blood Watch (V.H + Blacksmith) and Coven (Papa Zombie + ?)

Finally for this section of news, the new range Reaver Lords will be seen for the first time very soon. If the artwork in the back of the PC Guide is anything to go by then they will be stunning!

The Shadow Mask is a Lvl 1 Villain from the Jade Cult
In a box with Tanuki. (Not yet seen) Due out in the next wave.
The arch enemy of Chronin. You can read about them in her background HERE

I really like the dynamic pose of this one. And the fact he has 3 claws on each arm makes me want him even more. Going to paint him in black and yellow. 3 guessess why. (Btw, your first 2 dont count)
Will definatly be picking up the next wave asap.
Until then I have alot of scenery to work on, Supremes to paint and might get a Monster!!!!!

I think it looks amazing and Im very sure that there is now A LOT of very happy Khador players out there awaiting the next book.

The process of creating a new model for Privateer Press is a pretty complex affair. Once the design team has created the basic idea, statistics, and weapons, the concept is passed along to me. It’s then my job to assign these briefs to a concept artist. The concept artist then designs the look of the character, warjack, or unit. Once that’s done, the finalized concept art is passed on to sculptors and illustrators to make cool models and fantastic paintings.

Sometimes, one of the best parts of my job is the ability to pick a couple models that I really like and “assign” them to myself to draw. I don’t get to do that as often as I’d like, but when I can, I try to scoop up the ones that I’m super jazzed about.

For example, I managed to snag the newest incarnation of one of the most iconic characters in WARMACHINE: Vladimir Tzepesci. As a long time Khador player, I have eagerly awaited the incarnation of Vlad where he takes up the mantle of his birthright and becomes a true Umbrean horse lord.
Once the design of Vlad was finalized, I assigned Néstor Ossandón the task of breathing life into the grand prince by creating an awesome illustration. I think this piece of art truly reflects the power and royal heritage of Vlad. I hope you agree.

War does not simply for the Britanan Empire just stop due to poor weather conditions and there is always at least one conflict being fought on one front or another at any given time. It is during these cold winter months that a mysterious figure has begun to appear randomly during times of great need, inspiring the puppet armies to victory with its glorious antics. The legendary hero has come to be known affectionately as St Nikolaus due to the strange resemblance he bears to a long deceased ambassador from the old days, though the details of his origins are a complete mystery to all.


Some time in December, we will be releasing St Nikolaus. This cheery little fellow comes complete with sack of goodies full of presents (or skulls, bones and what looks like Nuem cables too….) to give to the troops of the Britanan forces where ever they are fighting.


We will also be giving away 20 of these little buggers 5 for each of our twitter followers, Facebook page ‘likers’, Google+ followers and forum members.
