The guys over at the CritsKillPeople Blog have a nice exclusive preview for the Batman Minis Game from Knight Models.

New Pulp City Supremes available to order - Inc NINJAS!

As the title says, the new wave of Pulp City Supremes are finally available to pre-order from the Web-store (link). Should be ready to ship on the 13th.

The first set includes Doom Train and Night Fright. Bringing the Necroplane sub-faction up to a full L12 team. Yay!
Doom Train , a L2 necro-energy driven suit of armour, has been haunting the dreams of Iron Train. But what or who is he?
Night Fright and his trusty sky-board Leech are 2 L1s on one base! Could it be the remains of the legendary Night Fly who disappeared during the Necroplane Invasion? His statue still stands in the city to this day.

Crimson Oni and Foxxy Blade are the first members to be seen from the 'Way of the Fist and Blade'
Heroic L2 Oni had his powers increased by claiming a Phoenix feather. Does he have a connection to the Jade Cult though?
Foxxy Blade is a L1 Hero/Villain and a master of anything with a blade. She is going to be very useful to all interested parties in the city.

 

Next up is the first pack for the Jade Cult. Villains from Little Asia.

The Green Serpent is the L2 daughter of the Green Emperor himself. A master assassin and ninja, she can take out anybody anywhere.

Her support comes in the form on the Jade Cult Ninja minions. 2 bodies, 4 heads, 4 pairs of weapon/arms, endless options. The ninjas can also be used to back up Crimson Oni if your more of a Hero player.

Not only are these going to look great in Pulp City, they could be used as ninjas in many other games. Maybe the Hand? The Foot? Another body part?

 The final box in this release is also for the Jade Cult. A pair of scary L1 Villains.

Shadow Mask is the chosen of the Green Emperors court and a highly skilled assassin. Also the arch enemy of Heavy Metals Chronin.

Tanuki is almost a legendary beast. An enhanced raccoon that's skilled in all sorts of potions and powders.

That's all the new toys then.

I may have sort of ordered all of them. Whoops!

Oh well, birthday prezzie to myself for later this month!

Pulp City is Invaded by Ninja Assassins! (updated)

The first of the Jade Cult Assassins has been posted up today on the Pulp City Facebook page. (Click pics to view larger)
A new type of Minion that can be taken with the other members of the Jade Cult, Heros including Crimson Oni and ,Im not certain on this last one, maybe Villains in general?
They come in pairs but the kits have a huge amount of options.
2 bodies, 4 heads and 4 weapon sets. Thats a whole lot of options.

 A teaser image was posted a while back that shows a couple of the other parts.

I have also dug up the concept image that was on the PC fourm a while back. Not gratly detailed but I think the minis have captured the look, feel and movement perfectly.

I think these model look amazing. Very dynamic and wonderfuly detailed. Really looking forward to picking up a set or 2 for my Heros and Villains. Got some colour schemes in mind and I have even seen all the parts yet.
You will be able to take 1 card of them at a time, thats 2 minis, but when the Green Emporer is released he will be able to take alot more of them. A whole army of Ninjas? Yes please!

The Jade Cult Assassins are due out with the next wave of Pulp City Supremes and will be boxed with the Green Emporers daughter, the Green Serpent (shown below)

Over on the Pen and Lead Blog there is also a quick word from Morf, the head of Pulp City, on these models.

"… the batch of sculpts from James and I took them immediately to MaxMini for casting.
I got to say this is just one of my favorite batches: hyper dynamic (hey, it’s ninjas!) super sexy minis!

There are two ninja Supremes (male and female), multipart ninjas (2 body types, 8 weapons and arms, 4 heads – all very user friendly as they hold almost with no glue) and the Green Emperor who is just really menacing as he draws his sword.

But it’s not just villains – Heroes will be able to use ninjas as well, and all Hero players will be happy to see a whole new team building option that gives special bonuses if you build your team with the martial arts theme (yes, that means Chronin side by side with Chimp Chi)."

Sounds like the new models are going to give alot more options to all players. Really like the idea of a martial arts Hero team!

This is shaping up to be an amazing wave of releases for Pulp City.
With the above models there will also be Foxxy Blade, Crimson Oni, Doom Train, Night Fright, Tanuki and the Shadow Mask.

New Pulp City Supreme Ninjaness - The Green Serpent + Next Release Wave

(Ok this post os now a little confusing. Insread of lots of little posts I have updated this over the last couple of days with all the new info)


At the weekend Pulp City posted up the preview pics of a new Supreme on thier Facebook Page
Seen above and below is the new Villain the Green Serpent.

Not much is known about the Green Serpent yet. Apart from-
She is a Level 2 Villain
She has involvement with Little Asia and the Jade Clan 
Is daughter of the Green Emperor

If you take a look at the Green Serpents concept artwork posted a while ago you will see that me model stays AMAZINGLY close to the original drawing.

This box set will be part of now 2 waves of releases in 1.
4 boxes, 9 models. And the post on Facebook mentioned it will be by Xmas. Yay!
The others we already know of in the release are Crimson Oni, Foxxy Blade, Doom Train and Night Fright, Shadow Mask, Jade Clan Assassins and Tanuki

Newsflash!!!!!
Pulp City has just posted up this teaser for the Green Serpents box partners. The Jade Clan Assassins

"We got a request for a Thanksgiving preview. What's better than a ninja sneak-peak? The modular ninjas will accompany Green Serpent."

And another Newsflash today from the Pulp City Facebook page
 I plan to take all the pictures on Monday (we just got these and Shadow Mask from the painter) along with Tanuki.

Chornins life long enemy, the Shadow Mask is here! A LVL1 Villain. Along with someone new aswell

Shadow Mask will be paired up with Tanuki. The only model we havent seen from the wave so far.

Almost has a Wolverine look about him with those claws. Thats my paint scheme already sorted!

Being a super hero fan all my life and a mini games lover for years, Pulp City is the perfect combination of the 2 for me!
And if you like MARVEL or DC then I suggest you take a look aswell. You wont be disapointed.

Next up for my own Pulp work? Well.....
The Lesser of Two Evils Battle Report story will be continued. Can Sanguine and Seabolt keep the 'Heart' safe for long enough to harness its power?
