Even More (and ALL) Marvel Universe Leaks!

Hey there folks,
The MUMG Leaks profile the last cards came from was taken off of Facebook. Last night it was replaced with MUMG Leaksagain! (And since I saved these pics, that has been removed as well)

Here are ALL of the cars they posted last night along with the previous ones and those found on KMs website so they are all in one place.

As I have said before, all of these are VERY close to what I was testing when I was working with KM before December but most have had some tweaks and changes which leads me to believe these are updated and finished versions.

More Marvel Leaks - Silver Surfer and Captain Marvel

The MUMG Leaks profile on Facebook has hit again over the weekend. This time with some Cosmic goodies in the form of Captain Marvel and Silver Surfer.

While these two never got models you could easily use the Ms Marvel from the Dark Avengers set and there are several Silver Surfers in the Heroclix range.

Again these are pretty damn close to the rules I was testing with KM a while back but look to be a bit more revised. I'd take these are official and final.

Mix Up Your Marvel Universe Teams

 

Here's a little idea for mixing up your Marvel U teams now there will be no new releases.
Try them out and see what you think.

Quite a few have given this mixing a go now and no obvious balance issues have come up at all.
Thoughts?

Marvel Rules for Doc Ock, Superior Spidey and Goblin Knight

Over the weekend, these 3 cards appeared online from a Facebook profile called MUMG Leaks.
Rules for the final 3 metal KM models that never got a Marvel game release.

While I probably shouldn't say this, these rules are almost identical to the ones I wrote for KM and was playtesting up to a couple of months ago. There are a couple of changes which makes me think these are update final rules.
Probably from an annoyed staff member. Or could it even be KM themselves leaking them out?

With no more releases from now on, these are as official as you are going to get.
Give them a try and see what you think.

If any more appear, I'll get them up here as well.

Knight Models Drops Marvel!!!!!

Sadly it's true.
Knight Models have dropped all Marvel related products from today onwards.

What are your thoughts?
Will you still play the Marvel game?

Is the Marvel Universe Game Dead?

Is the Marvel game from Knight Models dead?
The question on many players lips at the moment. Especially those in the MUMG Facebook Group.

So, why do people think the game is done?

- The last official Marvel mini release was the Dark Avengers back in August.
- There were the Spider-man free download cards at the end of the year, but they have only been posted on here and still not on KMs site.
- KM have posted promo material for the Justice League movie, Lego Batman movie, Harry Potter and more. But nothing in several months about Marvel or any movies / series including the hit Dr.Strange.
- People started to ask on KMs Facebook page about Marvel and many of those comments were deleted. The other didn't get a reply.
- Fans then started to email KM directly. But responses have been very vague about Marvel and instead stated the game will continue with DC releases.

I worked on this game daily from at least 6 months before release up until 2 months ago. I can't even get a reply from KM.

Yes, the SuperHero Universe game is continuing with DC releases, but where does that leave those of us that are Marvel fans?
Those that have wanted a Marvel minis game for years, jumped right in when it stared and are now left in the dark?

You could argue "play DC instead". But if Star Wars X-Wing suddenly stopped and you told people to "play Star Trek instead" there would be absolute geek RIOTS!!!!!!!!

Gamers and comic /movie fans are some of the most passionate there are about their hobbies. Put them together in a licensed minis game and you get some of THE most dedicated fans you could ever find.
When they hear news and see releases monthly and then get radio silence for six months, they are going to worry.

What are your thoughts on this situation?
Have you heard anything on the topic?

Update 1 - KM have emailed a customer saying they will not be re-releasing the Loki and Venom models as the molds are too old.
Very odd after the official cards for those models, with models pictured, are on the KM website at the moment (on this blog a few posts back HERE)

Update 2 - Reports from a store that KM called them and told them Marvel is getting axed in favour of DC and Harry Potter. To be announced officialy next week and the Marvel side will get no more releases.

Update 3 8/2 - A very large and very reliable retailer has contacted me stating the same. KM no longer have the Marvel license.
I think all we are waiting for now is the official announcement from KM.

Marvel Universe Miniature Game - Thanos, Loki, Elektra and Venom

These character cards appeared just before Christmas, however they are subject to change as they have not been officially confirmed by Knight Models yet. Furthermore a Doctor Octopus was also mentioned, however a character card has not yet appeared. Once these cards become official I will add them to the team builder and links.

Update (06/01/17) Thanos' Titan Punch and Cosmic Rain have increased their damage by 1 each. Cosmic Rain's range has been increased from 8 inches to 13 inches. Finally Titan Beam has had the error removed from it's Spray range.

Official Spider-Man Game to Marvel Universe Characters, Team Cards and New Scenarios

You may have seen these last week but I thought they needed their own post.
Knight Models have given us here at ToaTS the Official Spider-Man Game to Marvel Universe Game character cards as well as some new Team Cards and a pile of Scenarios.

You can see them all in the images here, download them from  the FAQ in the top bar ^ or in the Scribd app at the bottom of this post.

So there is Spider-Man, Punisher, Daredevil and Green Goblin along with Teams for the Mighty Avengers, Uncanny X-Men, Guardians of the Galaxy and Tony Stanks House Party Protocol.
As well as Scenarios for the Infinity Stones, Siege and more.
