Bane, Two Face and Ivy Henchmen Conversions
While browsing the Arkham City Limits Facebook group, I spotted some nice repaints and conversions for henchmen.
Having a look through the Knight Models range, I started to plan some of my own.
There are 3 Banes in the range so far, but my Bane of choice is the Arkham Asylum / City Titan Bane. For his henchmen I'm using the Blackgate Prisoners. They match his costume and are also cheap in Rep to counter Banes 150 Rep price tag.
The Bane crew also has access to several skilled mercenaries but they don't really match the look I'm going for.
Luckily, the Bane Starter and Two Face starter Henchmen are armed with the same weapons. The Two Face Henchmen also have VERY similar outfits to the Blackgate Prisoners.
The plan for this is nothing more than some simple head swaps adding the Merc heads to the Two Face bodies and painting them orange instead of the split colours.
Looking into it a little further, the first expansion blisters for each crew are quite similar as well. The axe on the Two Face henchman will need to be split into two weapons but then it will just be head swaps again.
The idea behind these will be skilled Blackgate inmates that have managed to break into the weapons stores.
With the Bane idea, I'm going to be left with a few Two Face henchmen masks.
These would go perfectly on a set of Blackgate Prisoners. After the headswap, the orange jump suits will be painted in split colours and then I have 4 more cheap Two Face henchmen!
Then I came across this picture. Arkham Ivy with her hypnotised henchmen.
At the moment, Ivy only has access to Plants, Blackgates and Loonies so I cant really use the rules for Henchmen straight out of Two Face, Joker and Penguin crews.
As the Plants can't hold Objectives, some bodies would be really handy.
The idea here is to match the Blackgate cards to Two Face, Joker and Penguin Henchmen that are armed with the same weapons. Then either use them straight out of my other crews or get extra models to go with the green eyed look.
I'm sure I will have more conversions in the future, but that's it for now.
Which ones do you like the sound of the most?
Do you have any similar plans?

A Boxing Glove Arrow? ...... To Punch People A Really Long Way Away!
WARNING! Mini Arrow Season 3 spoiler at the bottom of this post!!!!
After my last Knight Models review, I found myself with an extra Green Arrow model. As he has never really had many alternate costumes, I was wondering what to do with it.
Then it hit me! (sorry)
A little joke for Green Arrow readers / viewers over the years has been his Boxing Glove Arrow. I couldn't resist giving it a go.
With the help of the Tabletop Skirmishers Facebook group, I managed to get my hands on a Butch boxer model from Reaper Minis. His gloves looked to be the perfect size.
I cut the blades off of GAs arrow, cut the glove off of Butch, filed them both and drilled a small hole in the back of the glove.
Then I ended up with this.........
I think its a perfect fit. I know its the right glove an not the left he is usually seen with, but it's the best I could find.
I might even have to have a go at tweaking his rules. Add and extra type of ammo, or replace one of the existing ones to give 2 Stun Damage instead of current 2 Blood on his stat card.
His current stat are HERE and on the Batman Forum it has been mentioned he will also be getting Leader stats in the future.
All I need to do then is get him painted up and start punching people a really long way away!
For those not bothered by little spoilers, here's the image that made me want to do this.

Hobby and Competition Update (Updated)
There has been a lot of news and such on here recently and not very much about what I'm doing in my own hobby.
That's mainly due to the time I have had. Which as you can guess, has been not very much.
But I didn't mange to get some Merc Warjack conversion done recently.
The first 3 of many to come.
A converted Buccaneer with a porthole style head, Running Mariner with Freebooter head and legs and a plodding Freebooter with Mariner head and legs.
Here is the next plan. A Piratey Vanguard. Only waiting for a bit to arrive.
EDIT: This will be followed by Captain Bartolo, Fiona the Black, a converted Mariner and a Mariner/Rociante conversion
I have also started to paint finally.
First up with my new attempt and painting properly, Necrplanes Dr.Tenebrous, Doom Train and Night Fright from Pulp City.
(store pics, not mine)
EDIT: I am also going to be painting the Necroplane Minions. Necro GIs. Again these are the studio painted minis, not my own.
EDIT: For my Pulp City building, I have 4 models on the table. BIG ones.
2 official PC Monsters (Dino and Daemon), a 6.5" UFO and a huge Steampunk Dragon. Getting ready for the 'soon to be released' Pulp City Monster Rules.
On the topic of Pulp City, there is still a week to enter the competition to win £70 of Pulp City or £60 of Reapers Chronoscope. All you need to do is think up a Hero or Villain of your own.
Full Details >>HERE<<
That's all for now,

Something Old and Something New
With the blog hitting the recent landmark of 100K hits (the giveaway is still going on HERE) I decided it was time I mixed things up abit. On the blog and in my personal hobby. The 'Supers' gaming will stay but other games will be added to it.
First up I have decided to return to where this blog started.......
After not playing Warmachine for a long, long time I have dug out the old army.
A lot of things were cleared out when our little boy arrived but I still have 50-60pts of Talion Charter Mercs.
To be more precise, A Pirates Life - Shae Tier 4
Captain Shae
3 x Nomad (converted to the pirate theme, pics below)
Freebooter
Buccaneer
Commodore Cannon
First Mate Hawk
Bosun Grogspar
Lord Rockbottom
Dirty Meg
Doc Killingsworth
Aiyana and Holt
Full Sea Dogs inc 3 Riflemen and Mr Walls
2 x 6 Press Gangers
A great force that takes a lot of hits to take down and dishes out even bigger hits itself.
With Shae being the least played Caster of the least played Faction they are also a surprise to anybody that doesn't face them on a regular basis.
Here are my converted Privateer Nomads and the paint scheme on my Buccaneer.
The pic of the Bucc doesn't really do it justice. My best paintjob I have ever done in my opinion.
I'm going to get some practise in with this force and maybe even take it to a couple of tournaments and events.
But then what?
I want to expand with some more Jacks, Bart, Fiona, filling out the units and getting some more key Solos.
Then there's GALLEON!!!!!!!!!!!! Yay!
At a push I may even grab some Searforge for Shaes new NQ Tier List.
After expanding the Mercs I want to look at the NQ Tier List for Skarre as I was given her model recently.
A mix of Merc and Cryx Pirates. I LOVE the Cryx Revenants and cant wait to get my hands on some.
Im already sure that this will lead onto a full Cryx Pirate force with Blackbanes, Black Ogrun, Epic Skarre, Satyxis, Terminus and Crab Jacks.
MAYBE after that I might look at Hordes again.
I did have a Blindwater Gator force but I lost interest in them after a while. That was before the new additions in Domination though.
If I do go for Hordes it will be a return to the Blindwater Gators and the addition of Thornfall Farrow.
But for now its pirates all the way.
Then theres the something new......
I tried to get into Malifaux a while ago with a Dreamer / Lord Chompy Bits crew.
I collected EVERYTHING they could have. Including the nightmare additions. But I soon discovered they were a very tricky crew to learn with.
This put me off the game and the crew was sold in what has come to be know as 'The Great Purge'
I recently started going to a local store called the Giants Lair. They have a regular (Rich) who is a Malifaux Henchman and has been trying to talk me into trying the game out again.
Still unsure on it, Rich offered me a full crew in trade for afew models I was getting rid of anyway.Ok, I'm in!
And this is where I will begin.
The Viktorias
Convict Gunslinger
Ronin x3
Von Schill
Friekorps Librarian
A good solid base to learn and play according to the Henchman.
I had a look at the other models in the Outcasts range and with abit of helpful advice I have decided to add a couple of options to play about with and swap in and out.
Student of Conflict (meant to be a great addition)
Hamelin (has my families dog)
Sue (who can say no to a flaming guitar?)
Hans (meant to be another great addition)
From this start I will get as many games in as I can and she how I get on with the game and the crew.
It may just end there! But, and theres always a but, What if it doesn't?
What if I end up really liking the game?
Will I get more Outcasts? Move to another Faction? (I like the look of the Arcanists and Neverborn)
Who knows? Only time will tell I guess.
Keep an eye out here to see what happens with both games.
How I get on, my modelling and painting (and probably converting), any new additions and any events.
Until next time True Believers.....

This week I has mostly been ......... making stuff!
As the title says, I have been on a bit of a building binge recently.
Lots of Supremes and Monsters for Pulp City
Monster (above) are from a range of places including Heroclix. Still 6 more (at least) to add to the collection yet. I LOVE big minis!
Giant Hadron on 80mm base and Libra on 30mm base at the front for scale
An evening of playing with files and glue!
All based on Post Apoc toppers from Fenris Games
A little conversion. I wanted Silveragers robo arms under his own instead of over to make him look a little different. Doc Ock and Iron spider have both been mentioned as colour schemes.
Another little addition is the extra branches on Father Oak. Gives him more of a 'living tree' look
Not much more to say about them to be honest. Just a quick update on what I have been doing.
If your a Pulp City fan and serious collector, you may want to check out this blog tomorrow though
