HUGE Knight Models Update. New Site, Batman Releases, HD Rules, Marvel News, Crew Builder and more!

WOW! It's a massive amount of Knight models news today.
A brand new website with HD rules cards, models listed by crew and more.

First up is the Arkham Knight Batmobile. The first resin model in the KM Legends range.

Next we have the huge and stunning Arkham Asylum. This MDF kit is an entire board on it's own.

How about some Joker and Harley goodies? The Killing Joke Joker is a new Leader and a very nice model while the Harley Gatling Brute brings some serious firepower to the crew.
You can even see a couple of yet unreleased Harley Thugs at the back of this picture. Next month maybe?

Two Face is getting a very nice boost this month. Spice and Thugs give the crew another Sidekick, Gas Masks, Rocket Launcher, Assault Carbine and more!

Are you more of a Scarecrow fan? He gets a set of very nice tokens as well as an Arkham Knight Militia booster of Medic and Rocket Launcher.

Do you miss the Bat-Builder? Well KM are here to help with the new Hero Builder Batman Crew Builder.

Batman October Releases!

Knight Models have once again come out with another stunning set of new releases for the Batman Miniature Game.
First up is one of the main villains from the latest game, the Arkham Knight. Sidekick for the Scarecrow crew and skilled gunman.

Next up we have Talia al Ghul. As the comic version, this Talia is packing a deadly gun and is i Sidekick for the League and Lexcorp. (What? A new crew?)
She also has True Love: Bruce Wayne but can't be taken in a Batman crew? Hmmm.....

The one many people have been waiting for. The Arkham Knight Scarecrow Crew. Backed up by the new AK Militia, Scarecrow can spread fear and terror through his enemies causing them serious problems.

The Militia get some muscle in the form of the Militia Brute. Electric prods and cybernetic armour bring some serious punch.

Not one new crew this month but two! The Wonderland Gang are here to spread chaos and crazyness. Beams, mind control, long spiked heels and more!

For the MDF release this month there are a new set of Lamps and Sewers. Cheaper and more sturdy than previous ones and you get 4 of each in the pack so no need to buy several.

To finish off the month, we have some Nightwing and Robin markers. Let your Batboys run in style!

DEATHSTROKE CREW!!! and Batman rules updates

The latest rules update on the official Batman Forum has made a Deathstroke crew now possible.

Well, it's not exactly a Deathstroke crew, he has instead been given Sidekick Scarecrow to go along with the new Arkham Knight releases. Luckily he doesn't have a tank.

This does mean though that as a Sidekick he can be the Boss of a crew all on his own. Slade could lead the Arkham Knight's Militia or even a mob of Blackgate Prisoners or Arkham Lunatics.
Or if you wanted to you could go for a New Suicide Squad with Free Agents like Deadshot.
How about some head swaps to create Mirakuru soldiers to face Arrow?
All in all, this open up a lot of options.

The other rules changes add three new Traits. Col which has been included on Mr Freeze's gun, Gas which has been given to the other Scarecrow models and Supernatural which has been gained by Swamp Thing and Soloman Grundy.

We don't know what these Traits do 'yet' but could it be leading up to things like gas masks or even John Constantine?

Knight Models have posted up a new preview for the Batman Miniature Game.

At the same time there was also a 'leak' which revealed the rest of the October releases for the game.

New Knight Models Batman + Marvel Releases

It's that time of the month again folks, Knight Models have posted up their new Batman and Marvel releases.
I know I have said they are getting better each time, but this month they have really stepped it up and cranked out some stunning minis.

Rocket Raccoon, core member of the Guardians of the Guardians of the Galaxy.
Although the Marvel models don't have rules yet, I'm glad he's out now for when the game happens.
Plus the model looks awesome.

Jason Todd a.k.a Red Hood. The second Robin turned bad then good(ish) again.
Red Hood is a 88 Rep $500 Free Agent for a Batman crew. Armed with Dual Handguns, the Takedown ability and the Arkham Knight themed Teamwork, he's a great addition.

Azreal, crusader for the Church of St.Dumas and potential replacement for Batman.
At 77 Rep and $150, Azreal adds a lot of Blood Damage as a Free Agent for Batman. His Sword of Sin is Sharp, has Crit Fire and even rolls two Crit dice and uses BOTH results.

Harley Quinn gets some help in the form of a Henchman pack. 38 Rep and $250 together they ar a good boost to her crew and the addition of an RPG will cause issues to the bigger foes.

Hugo Strange, creator of Arkham City leads his patients into the battle. Able to control and boost Henchmen with Mental Disorder Traits, Hugo is a bargain at only 44 Rep. He can be taken as a Free Agent with the Riddler, League of Shadows, Black Mask and Organised Crime.
The Arkham Inmates cost 67 Rep for the Free and can be taken by any Villain crew, They are better alongside Hugo though.

Previewed here recently, the Riddler appears with a whole Bot army.
The key points of this new crew are three different types of Bot that can be taken up to three times each and the fact they don't use normal objectives. Each model can lay down Clues during their activation and the VP per turn is worked out by the amount on the table. The opponent can remove them though!

Batman and Law Forces get a new Objective in the form of the Bat Signal.
This can be marked as On or Off by manipulating it and gives VP at the end of the round depending on the setting. It also has room to add an LED if you really want it to work.

Finally are some Riddler and Red Hood markers. Used for Willpower, Action Counters, Ammo or whatever you like.

Arkham Knight Riddler + Bots - Exclusive Batman Preview

The awesome guys over at Knight Models have just sent us a very nice preview.
In Arkham Knight, The Ridder has an army of Bots he uses to place Riddles around Gotham and to try and stop Batman.

Now he has brought them to the Batman Miniatures Game!

Wayland Games Cut Batman Mini Prices

Recently I have seen a few comments about Wayland Games costing more than other retailers for Batman Minis.
When I went onto the WG site on Wednesday to check prices for a review, I noticed ALL the Batman minis prices had been cut!
Single figures and two packs around £10.36 and crew boxes for £19.99. Large single figures range in price depending on size but are still as cheap as anywhere else.

Another complaint I have seen is people having to wait for Wayland Games to get stock of an 'available' model. The new site now has live stock levels on so you know if they have it there or have to order it in.

The next complaint was postage costs were too high. They now ship free for orders over £40 and it's about £6 for tracked / enhanced postage if you want it.

After spotting they had the new releases in stock, I wanted to test out what people had been saying and see if there was anything behind these complaints.

On Wednesday night at 9:30pm, I ordered a crew, henchmen and three single packs.
All at the new low prices and all said they had # in stock.
Thursday morning they had all been shipped.
They arrived at 11am Friday morning.

Test 1 results - I can't see what people are moaning about!

Some of you may know I write for the Wayland blog and will have noticed the Wayland banners on the side of this page. So you don't think this is an ad for them, I wanted to explain what it's all about quickly.
I decided to put this post together after seeing several negative comments when sharing my Wayland articles. People complaining that haven't even dealt with Wayland in the last year or two but appear to be the vocal majority online. I was starting to get sick of them to be honest.
As for the banners, Wayland don't pay for them like a few have suggested. They are part of the Affiliate program that I chose to join and place on here. I do get commission from any sales they generate but this has only been about £45 in almost two years. Not really worth sucking up for.

Knight Models July Releases in Robin + Inmates

Knight Models have posted their July releases for the Batman Minis game.
This month sees the start of the Arkham Knight additions to the game with Batman, Robin and a Harley Quinn crew.
There is also a Killer Frost from Injustice: Gods Among Us and some Arkham Inmates from Arkham Origins: Blackgate.

A Killer Frost comes to the ACL

The Arkham City Limits Facebook Group has another preview today for the Batman Minis Game from Knight Models.

Batman Exclusive Preview - Arkham Knight Harley Quinn Crew

Knight Models have just sent over an awesome preview. The first of their Arkham Knight releases.
A Harley Quinn Crew box!

After the events of Arkham City and the loss of her Puddin', Harley has lost it even more.
She has gathered together a selection of thugs and wants to take down B-Man once and for all.

The model is a great representation of Harley from the game. Darker and nastier than before. Her 'boys' bring along some new weapons as well. A sawn-off shotgun, jackhammer and chainsaw!!!!

Harley works as a new Leader model for the Joker crew. At 80 Rep and packing an SMG, she can cause a lot of problems on here own.
Harley's Special Traits of Bluff, Escape Artist and Play Nice show she has her 'boys' under control and trained to fool their opponents just like she can and if Mr J can't lay his hands on her any more, nobody can!

Being Joker Affiliation also means that this new Crew box already has a TON of Joker thugs already out that can be added to Harley's forces and an equipment list in the rulebook ready to go.
