Batman Rulebook Ready to Ship!

Just a quick post today but it'd big news if you have ordered the new Batman Rulebook.
Knight Models have both versions of the Rulebook plus Red Hood and Alfred in hand!

From the announcement -
"Good morning all, I'm glad to announce we have already received the Rulebooks and we'll start to send them at the end of this week or beginning of next week. We hope we will be able to send them all by the end of the next week."

Batman Rulebook Pre-Order, Page Previews and Exclusive Minis!

Knight Models have put up pre-orders for the Batman Mini Game rulebook along with some stunning exclusive minis. To go with this, Beasts of War have a load pf preview pages from the book for you to check out.

The standard version of the book comes with a very nice Alfred Pennyworth model if ordered before Feb 15th. But, there is another version.....

A limited edition Joker rulebook! A 500 copy run that comes with an alternate cover (maybe more?) and  a Joker Red Hood instead of Alfred. This is the criminal that became the Joker we all know today.

A closer look at the Joker and Alfred models shows that they look fantastic. Knight have also confirmed that the Red Hood and Penny One WILL come with game rules!

In the page previews is a new gang equipment section. But this shows a lot of gangs not released yet.
Scarecrow, Mr Freeze (Yay!), Court of Owls, Wonderland, Green Arrow and Organised Crime. These should give you some ideas about what models are coming in the future. So many goodies!!!!!!

Another shot from the book, shows what could be future Gotham MDF scenery. Those buildings are impressive and I'm loving the monorail.

Giant Angler Fish Unlocked !!!!!!!!

Just a quick little post today.
The Deep Wars Pre-Order Pledge system on the Antimatter Games website has just unlocked the Giant Angler Fish for the Scaly Horde

This creepy fish is going to be HUGE as it is based on a 50mm. You can pre-order them now at Antimatter Games for just $20! Bargain!

You can also pick up any of the other Deep Wars models at a discounted price until the end of Feb.
All orders via this system keep building towards more 'unlocks' for the game.
The next 3 to be unlocked are the Scaly Horde Draconid Warrior, Fortune Hunters Medical Officer and the Dark Mariners Cephalid Ethermancer (all below)

Dire Fish-Lizard Finished + Resin Masters

Antimatter Games have posed up the finished pictures of the Scaly Horde Dire Fish-Lizard on their Facebook Page
It even includes a little insight into the design of the creature.

"The last remnant of the first Kickstarter post-kick pedge drive, so not technically part of the Kickstarter. I wish I could have done it sooner but there was just too much to do getting DeepWars launched. It will be a couple of weeks before it is cast and shipping but we will try to fit it in the January timeframe. Just in case anyone wonders, this is a mix of a Icthyosaur (Shonisaurus body shape with the deep keel), Crocodile and dragon, with some features of fish. The frill is not really supposed to be a gill plate but more for display and combat. It actually breathes air through nostrils."

I think this Fish-Lizard is stunning. Really looking forward to getting my hands on one (or two)

A stunning sculpt and I cant wait to get my hands on a couple of these to stalk the forces on the Deep Wars board.

Next up is the finished sculpt for the Dagathonan Brute for the Scaly Horde. This one was created by Sergio Alonso Leon (A name I recognise from the recently shown Pulp City Supreme Alliance)

If you like what you see but missed the Kickstarter, you can still get in on the action with Antimatter Games new Pre Order Pledge System which gives you the same great deals as the Kickstarter did.

What does this system mean for AMG and yourself though?

Customers get cheaper minis than if you bought them from the AMG store. You also get FREE minis as part of the higher pledge levels. The shipping also works out cheaper which is another bonus.

Discount Deep Wars Minis, New Stat Cards and the Giant Angler Fish!!!!

Antimatter Games have posted a great update for Deep Wars.
A 'Pre Order Pledge' system letting your get cheaper minis and help unlock new ones and Stat Cards for every other model that has been released since the Stater Sets

I will be 'Chipping In' myself in a couple of weeks for more goodies and I really hope that the total will have reached $500 by then so I can add a couple of Giant Angler Fish

Here is the full announcement from Antimatter with all the info you need to get hold of the cards and get involved in the pledges.


"The Mini-Kickers for DeepWars went really well considering it was only two weeks. There were some that could not join in though, and so we ran a very short "Chip-in" pledge drive that helped some folks join in. It was right during the holidays though, so everyone was tapped out. We are reinstating the "Chip-in" pre-order pledge manager so that backers can add to their Mini-Kicker pledges or new backers can join in to help unlock some additional miniatures, like the Giant Anglerfish. The "Chip-in" can be found on the AntiMatter site here. All pledges are done through Paypal.

In other news, we are making cards for all miniatures now, so they are taking a few days longer to get together. This helps us finish the casting of new minis though, so hopefully folks will not mind waiting a bit more.
