Marvel Mini Games Online Communities

Hi folks,
Today I wanted to give you a couple of very handy links if you are fans of the Marvel Universe and Spider-Man miniature games from Knight Models.
The two main online communities (that I know of) filled with like-minded gamers.

First up is the Official KM Marvel Miniature Games group on Facebook.
You can find it HERE.
With over 1300 members already, it's packed full of chat, ideas and the MU models are starting to appear in all sorts of schemes and games.

If you prefer using forums, there is now a Marvel / Spider-Man forum.
This can be found HERE.
It's fairy new so is just starting to get off the ground but is already full of great threads.

Arkham City Limits - Batman Game Community Update

Adam Reeves Titan Joker crew ready to cause mayhem

With the release of the Batman rulebook from Knight Models, the popularity of the game has shot up!
Along with this, the official Facebook group Arkham City Limits has shot up in size as well.
With all these new players, painters and general Batman lovers, I thought it would be good to do another update on the ACL with the sort of thing that has been posted there recently.

In my option, its one of the best gaming communities I have ever been part of.

Ian Morton has gone for the TV colours for his Arrow.

Aaron Emerson has done great work on the Green Arrow, Speedy and the Flash.

Andrew Campbell has gone with a classic costume look on his Nightwing and Catwoman

Bear Smith has used a Black Mask body and Superman head t create a killer Frank Miller Joker

Arkham City Limits - Batman Minis and Terrain Community

When Knight Models first released the Batman Miniatures Game, a little Facebook group started up called Arkham City Limits.
Starting with only a handful of members, ACL is now heading to 700 Batman players and painters.

I know there are a lot of people out there against using the dreaded Book of Faces, but if you are interested in Batman minis, it's well worth knocking together a "fake" profile just to use this group. No different to joining a forum really.

On a daily basis, Arkham City Limits is packed full of stunning painted models, amazing terrain and discussions on all sorts of things DC Miniatures related.
Several of the Knight Models team are also members. They help with everything from replacement parts to rules questions and even throw in the odd model or rules preview.

Over the years, I have been part of several forum and facebook communities. ACL is one of the best by a long way. Even the odd heated discussion, that all games get, are civil and interesting.
I can't recommend it enough.

Tabletop Gamers on Facebook. A Community for You.

Social networking is a huge thing these days. Millions of people use it for millions of different things.
One of which is to organise, check out and discuss tabletop games.
There are a lot of great Facebook gaming groups out there so I thought I would share my favourites with you.
You never know, some of you may even join and enjoy them!

Miniature Addicts Anonymous

Miniature Addicts Anonymous (link) is a group for any and all miniature games.
The members include several industry professionals from game owners to sculptors and artists. Plus tons of excitable gamers.
A fun and friendly group where you can ask anything you like (gaming or not) and post any work you have done or interesting things you have found.

Citizens of Pulp City

Citizens of Pulp City (link) is the main fan group for Pulp City from Pulp Monsters.
A great place to chat about Supremes, show off your work, ask any questions and even get some teasers and answers from the PC team themselves.
One of the friendliest groups I have ever found online and packed full of inspiration.
With the brand new Supreme Edition here and the new release schedule right around the corner, you don't want to miss out on the future of Pulp City!

The Stygian Depths

The Stygian Depths (link) is the place to go for fans of the awesome Deep Wars and ShadowSea by Antimatter Games.
Great people and some absolutely stunning work! You would be amazed what a different setting like underwater can bring out in the model world.
Even if Antimatter Games isn't your cuppa, head over and check it out. You wont be disappointed.

Dystopian Armadas

Dystopian Armadas (link) covers all of the ranges from Spartan Games.
Firestorm Armada, Uncharted Seas, Dystopian Was and the new Dystopian Legions.
The Victorian steampunk Dystopian setting seems to be the main draw to this group and with new stuff coming out for Wars and Legions all the time it is great to see what people are doing with it and throw your own in there as well.
