I know the blog has been a little quieter than usual over the last week or 2, but I though I would pop in quickly and let you all know why.
A small group of us are putting on a Pulp City participation game at the PAW 2012 convention in a couple of weeks. This means there has been a lot to do so everything will be ready.
Mainly it has been painting. Supremes, buildings, portaloos, fountains and more.
Then there is working out exactly what we want to use. Currently we have 4 teams to play about with. Blood Watch, the Coven and 2 of my own creations - the Monsters of Mayhem and the Caped Crusaders.
(more on those last 2 as the minis are finished)
At the same time we have been putting together a couple of battle reports to follow on from the last one - The Lesser of Two Evils.
These are going to become a continuous 'comic book' on the Tales of a Tabletop Skirmisher' blog.
This is where we would love a bit of input from yourselves.
The series needs a name. Any ideas?
How would you like to see the reports laid out? The same as the first or maybe looking more like an actual comic book?
Finally on the Pulp City side of things there have been some BIG projects. Shhhhh...... they are a secret
While all this is going on, Loudo (Andy) has started teaching me Malifaux. The Dreamer and Lord Chompy Bits are sooooo much fun. Hope to have more on that soon as well. Painting, reports etc.

I really like seeing the reports in comic book format. If you have access to a Mac, you could use Comic Life for simple comic book panel layouts.
ReplyDeleteA possible name...Tales of Titans? Heroes & Zeroes? It's corny, but '100% Pulp' because I can't resist a juice pun.
I have a trial version of Comic Life on the PC. Will have a play around with it and see what I can do.

Not sure on 'Zeros' in the sceond idea. The villains of Pulp City are alot more than zeros.
