Demos @ Wizards + Warlords, Breast Cancer Brawl News + Wrath Event Rules

Hi all, me again.
Had a great night this week running demo Games of Warmachine and Hordes at

 

Wizards + Warlords  is a gaming club in Shortlanesend, Near Truro in Cornwall.

They invited myself and a couple of other local players down to run some Warmachine and Hordes demos for them this Tuesday night.  As you can gues already, we said yes!

Arrived on site at around 6pm and met up with the club members.  A great group of people.

And the even supplied chips! (Thanks Barry)

We set up to tables. One for Warmachine and one for Hordes. And all of a sudden there were people gathering. 

I did plan to take alot of pics on the night but everyone just got into the games so much I totally forgot.

After afew demos to the W+W members everyone seemed to enjoy it.

And I was even told afterwards that Warmachine and Hordes were definatly games there will be picking up armies for. 

The highlight for me had to be our friend Katie. She has always said that the Tabletop Games are just silly games with toys. And was only there because her other half and my wife were.

Then she watched a couple of the Hordes demos. And really liked the look of the Circle Orboros.

Next thing we know she has found a spare table and tried out a game.

By the end of the night she had a 35pt army list she wanted to buy and 'borrowed' my Forces of Hordes: Curcle Orboros book!

All in all, it was a very enjoyable and successful night. And I hope we can do it again some time.

Thanks to all involved. Looking forward to facing some new armies in Cornwall soon.

Cornwalls first Breast Cancer Brawl is moving forward.

It will be on October 25th at North Cornwall Beasts and Bionics (Link th the right>>>)

At the Poldark Inn, Delabole Cornwall.

25 point, 4 round tournament. (maybe more depending on numbers) with lots of fundraising ways to cheat!!!!

A ' Paint it Pink' model donation and auction.

And a whole lot of prizes including-

Steamroller 1st, 2nd and 3rd place coins and certificates

Warmachine: Wrath Faction coins. 1 for each WM Faction

'Grind' - full boxed game

More to come. 3 more prize donors confirmed so far.
