New Khador Man 'o' Wars Coming! Bombardiers aswell?
This has just been posed on the PP forums

The arm on the leader is different, the arm poses on the troopers are slightly different, the basing on the models are different, and the shoulder pads are slightly different with the most noticeable thing being the bolt in the inside corner of the pad being bigger.
Could this be a sneak preview of new, possibly plastic, Man-o-Wars?
Almost instant reply from PPS_Jen (PP staff member)
Those are pre-production resin sculpts of new Man-o-War Demolition Corps for the studio.
No, I do not have a street date for them or the Bombardiers. :)

TAGS Demo Night + New Things from PP!
Hi there people.
On Thursday this week I ran a Warmachine and Hordes demo night at Trelawneys Armies Gaming Society (TAGS)
This was after a demo there a couple of months ago that raised some interest.
Arrived there about 6.30 pm ready to set up.
Once the Warmachine and Hordes tables were set it was time to start the demos up.
TAGS didnt have all the members there that wanted to see on the night (so maybe another demo in the future?) but there were some arrivals from Mid Cornwall Gaming group and North Cornwall Beasts and Bionics which uped the numbers and soon fill all the tables.
A couple of games got up and running with Warmachine and the players really seemed to pick up the rules quickly and enjoyed themselves. Well, the rest of us found Liams dice quite funny anyway.
And Daves hit with Sorscha against Doms unhurt Denegra was insane! 3 dice minus 1 damage and he rolled 17! Denny sort of went squish.
Andy had quite good fun running the Cryx against Liam. Instead of thinking about tactics he went for the 'Hit stuff as fast and as often as possible' style of play. A favourite of my own btw.
And Matt also ran a Hordes game or 2 on the next table which ended up in 2 armies being chosen by Rich and Claire. Legion and Circle I think.
Packed up at around 10.30pm after a really good night. I was very pleased that all enjoyed it and hope to go back again soon and try to catch the other players that didnt make it.
But until then there are another couple of things in the pipeline.
Demo games and a tournament at the Legionary convention in Exeter on May 7th and
Shattered Grounds : Thundercliff Peaks will be up and running at North Cornwall Beasts and Bioncs with 8 players confirmed already and at Mid Cornwall Gaming with 9 confirmed players as of April 18th..
For more info on the Shattered Grounds leagues then check out Privateer Events
I will definatly be playing in the NCBB league and hope to take part in the MCG one aswell.
Using my Talion Charter as usual but with a slight alteration. PIRATE FROGS!
Yes you read that right, The alternate Shattered Grounds card for the Minions in Thundercliff peaks is a Croak Hunter Javelineer that can work for the Thalion Charter!
(got 3 on the way already)
And what about the new PP things?
Well,
No Quarter 35 has arrived
Contains the general rules for the new Battle Engines and the full rules for the Khador Gun carrige.
Which is also featured in the Khador v Retribution battle report against the Arkantric Force Generato
Theres a nice selection of rules for upcoming Wrath models aswell. Inculding the Cyrx Scavenger, Revenant Crew Rifleman and the Mercenary Ragman. Plus afew more.
Ever wanted to see blighted Gatormen? They are in there!
The alternate rules cards for Thundercliff peaks are included. Some nice cards, especially the Pirate Frogs mentioned above.
Power Progression covers building a Legion of Everblight army build from Battlebox to 100pts.
Deathjack has some nice fluff. 7 pages worth! Yay!
And some stunning artwork for the new Cryx Caster Lord Exhumator Scavreous
Thats just a taste of whats inside. Theres a whole lot more aswell
One of the best issues since I started playing
If you want to try out the Retribution of Scyrah Arkantric Force Generator Battle Engine, PP have put the rules card up on thier Insider Blog on the main site.
Cant be bothered to click? I can make it easier for you.
Here is the front and back of the card
A last little bit from Privateer Press this week. And its very nice.
The concept art for the Circle Orboros Celestial Fulcrum Battle Engine. First thing to appear from Hordes: Domination due later this year.
How cool does that look?
To finish up today theres just a little update on what Ive been up to.
As you probably know by now Im a little bit of a pirate freak. Love anything to do with them.
3 Casters +120 points of pure Talion Charter so far. And the final order will add another 50pts. Then they will be finished. And I will be able to use any setup I like. (Unless more appear in Wrath that is)
The next projects are going to be
Minions Blindwater Congregation - 2 Casters + 11pts so far
Cryx Pirates - 17pts so far
Minions Thornfall Alliance Farrow - nothing so far =(
Thats all for now.
May the dice gods smile upon you (better than they did to Liam!) and turn all your 1s into 6s

Mid Cornwall Gaming Demo and Warmachine News!
Wow, its been a while since Ive posted a blog here. But theres a reason. Still recoovering from finding out Im going to be a Daddy!
This gives me an excuse to start a new Faction (for the little one obviously) lol
So, Last night I ran a demo night at Mid Cornwall Gaming Group. Based at Mad for Miniatures in St.Austell.
There were quite afew people there but most were playing cards games (MTG ect) or late games in thier WHFB escalation league.
That didnt stop some decent interest in Warmachine and Hordes though.
Arrived a 6pm to set up and layed out a split table for the demos.
One half had Khador v Cryx and the other had Legion v Circle.
A couple of people came for a look and soon enough we had our first demos running.
You can tell they go well when someone puts down the dice and walks right over to the shelves to buy a Legion of Everblight starter set. (Matt! Hannah didnt look very happy with you. lol)
After afew demo games it started to quiet down towards the end of the night.
Most of the players had gone home but there was still half an hour until the club closed.
Everyone else was finishing off thier games which left Matt and myself hanging around.
I always have my Talion Charter Mercs with me when running a demo just to show afew more models in the range. Matt had his 35pts of Khador he had built after getting hooked playing Warmachine at my last demo day at Mad for Miniatures. He issued the challenge.
35 pts hit the table. Seeing there was only about 30mins left we only had turns each. But those 2 turns hurt!
A whole unit of dead Sea Dogs closely followed by Aiyana and Holt.
Vlad will be alot more weary of the Commodore Cannon next time though.
And there will be a next time!!!!!
This morning I had messages from one of the demo players telling me he is getting the Cryx starter box and Deathjack. Another one hooked! Mwah ha ha!
All in all it was a great night. And I look forward to going back to the store and playing the new forces that have been started.
Next week - TAGS demo night. Truro
'WHATS THE WARMACHINE NEWS?' I hear you cry!
3 nice juicy morsals for you today.
To start with we have the new Cryx Battle Engine
The Wraith Engine!
I love it! And will be fitting it into my Cryx Pirates force as soon as I can get my grubby little hands on it.
Head over to the Privateer Press site to veiw a full 360 rotation of this epic creation.
Next up we have the cover of the new expansion Warmachine: Wrath
And a better look at the artwork for good measure.
The Insider blog over on the Privateer Press main page has given us a couple of names aswell.
Featured are Lord Exhumator Scaverous at the head of the Cryxian army, his helljack Erebus by his side, squaring off against Constance Blaze, the Morrowan warjack Gallant, and the forces of Cygnar.
But there seems to be a couple more new things in there aswell.
Check out the centre left for a horned, buzzsaw weilding Cryx Crabjack. Maybe a third on the Leviathan/Harrower chasis that could mean a plastic multipart kit in the future?
And to finish off todays post we have the new releases for Warmachine in June
* PP1106N WARMACHINE: Wrath
* PP1106N Cygnar Long Gunner Infantry (10 white metal)
* PIP31010 Cygnar Long Gunner(2)
* PIP31018 Cygnar Long Gunners Unit (6)
* PP1106N Cygnar Constance Blaize, Knight of the Prophet (1 white metal)
* PP1106N Protectorate of Menoth Thyra, Flame of Sorrow (1 white metal)
* PP1106N Khador Kommander Harkevich, the Iron Wolf (1 white metal)
* PP1106N Cryx Wraith Engine Battle Engine (1)
* PP1106N Cryx Lord Exhumator Scaverous (1 white metal)
* PP1106N Retribution of Scyrah Lord Arcanist Ossyan
* PP1106N Mercenary Alexia, Mistress of the Witchfire (1 white metal)
Long Gunners. Repackage or resculpt? What do you think?
Epic Alexia! Cant wait to see what shee looks like and does.
Wrath is going to be great!
Thats all for today though beasties.
My the dice gods smile upon you and give you many Critical Hits.
Cheers

NCBB Windless Wastes: The Finale ..... and more!
The end has come. Night 4 of Windless Wastes has finished at North Cornwall Beasts and Bionics.
As usual, all the info on the Shattered Grounds leagues can be found at Privateer Press Events
People do allsorts of things for the last night of a league. We had an inter-club challenge.
The Iron Kings team came down to us from Rygas Roughnecks in Exeter.
Fred, Craig, Tom and Dave.
I must say thanks very much to them for this. It wasnt a short journey. Over and hour!
Everyone had great fun playing them and we will be visiting thier club as soon as we can arrange it.
They are also trying to talk us into entering a team into the Maelstrom Games ECT (European Team Championship) Will see who I can convince
The last night was played at 35pts. And you can play as many games as you like. A fight for the win!
Unfortunatley a couple of people coudnt play. Cal, Rich and Claire.
Seeing this left us with an odd number, I also dropped out of the last night so it was a 4 on 4 fight!
Last weeks league ladder looked like this-
Col - Cryx - 69
Andy - Cygnar - 67
Steve - Cryx - 64
Cal - Minions - 52
Benn - Khador - 48
Ian - Mercs - 43
Claire - Menoth - 24
Rich - Khador - 24
After all the games were played there were a couple of awards to be announced.
The scenery comp was won by Rich and Claire for a frozen lake and swamp. (That I forgot to get pics of, will next week)
They each won a faction patch of thier choice. Choosing Khador and Menoth
Then there was the Sportsmanship award. A bonus 5 points for the player voted the most sporting.
And the winner was.................well, Me!
But I think thats because I gave the win points to anyone who played me.
Onto the results. In reverse order-
Claire - Menoth - 24
Rich - Khador - 24
Ian - Mercs - 48
Cal - Minions - 52
Ben - Khador - 62
Steve - Cyrx - 76
Col - Cryx - 83
Andy - Cygnar - 87
So Andrew was the club winner with 87 points using his Cygnar. Taking home the league coin. (shown at top of post)
Map points wernt very spread out on the last night. Everyone wanted to take or hold certain areas.
Souther Scarsfell - Cygnar 4
Uldenfrost - Cryx 5
Thelborn - Cryx 1, Khador 3
This didnt change the map too much but did add afew %s again.
Cygnar held Southern Scarsfell going from 26% to 28%
Cryx stayed second in Uldenfrost but gained another 2% giving them 23%. Could take it still!
Thelborn stayed under Khador control sticking with a steady 24%
The map can been seen live at Privateer Press Events
Cygnar seem to be the best bet for the win at the moment. And theres only 24 hours left to play.
Although Khador are right behind them in Vikban Bluffs. And if they take the lead they can steal the win on the last day.
A great league for our first time. Cant wait for the next one.
And the next league is
Thundercliff Peaks - April 18th to May 15th (April 21st @ NCBB)
The fluff will be mainly Legion of Everblight, Retribution of Scyrah and the Seaforge Commission.
We already have 7 players signed up and still a possible 4 or 5 at NCBB
The rules will be changed a little though. The games will be a MAX of 50pts. Makes it more accessible to new players and still gives them a fighting chance.
There is also talk of Mad for Miniatures in St.Austell wanting to play this league aswell but at thier location on a different night of the week.
Will see how much interest there is on the next Demo night on March 18th
As for Demo nights, I will be running 2 this month.
MfM on Friday March 18th
And a second one at TAGS Trelawneys Armies Gaming Society in Truro on March 24th
And to finish off todays blog and the league, Privateer Press showed this nice little picture this week.
Sneak Peek previews of the concept art for the HORDES BATTLE ENGINES!!!!!!
What do you think they are?
My personnal thoughts are - Trollbloods treburget, Legion giant beast and Circle forest walk 'Stargate'
Thats all for now people.
May the dice gods smile upon you!
